A note about my blogs

I only started writing a blog for my road trips in 2011, although I hope someday to reconstruct my journals from the earlier trips into blogs.  As you read these blogs, please understand that there was a learning curve I was going through, at the same time that the capabilities of the blog app improved. Also, please remember that most of the entries were scribed at the end of long days of driving and hurried activity to find a camp (or bivouac), set up camp, feed the dogs (and myself), and then finish the evening's myriad chores, often in weather that was, well, not very pleasant, so there was no time to edit or proof what I wrote, if there was time to write anything at all.
